You guys asked for it and here it is night video of these lights in action. (My cameras lens somehow interfere with the bright LED’s giving these blue white strobes that aren’t seen in real life) Just arrived! Audi A4 LED tail lights with LED turn signals! 2000 standard fender stratocaster played through a 1970 AMPEG VT-22 2X12 combo amp. One of the speakers is stock (by Chicago Telephone supply, ha!), one is an Eminence Swamp Thang. Four Old American Made 7027s are in the amp right now. I’ve tried some tung-sol 6l6gc strs, but every time I do, one of them shorts out and then causes other damage in the amp. I don’t know if it’s just because I didn’t have the amp properly biased before or because the tubes simply cannot handle that much voltage (over 520 Volts without a signal playing through on certain pins of the output tubes). I think that the amp is in good working condition now, cross my fingers. It seems that every time I crank it past half way for very long, some resistors get fried. This is using an old digital camera so the sound quality isn’t that great. Sorry. I plan on recording a better demo soon. Then I’ll go into detail with all of the controls and I’ll change things up a bit more.
Heathkit SB-200 HF amplifier. Installation of new power supply, soft start, soft key boards.New caps and change most carbon comp resistors to metal film type. Power test.
